Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Typical responsibilities:
Multi-disciplinary projects including design, development, testing, and documentation
Manage multiple projects in parallel or series dependent on priorities
Perform hands-on payload integration activities, including mechanical fitment, electrical wiring, programming, and troubleshooting
Install hardware in a highly detailed and quality manner which includes removal, repair and installation of payloads
Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions for Inspired Flight payloads
Collaborate with the Engineering team to create complete system integration
Testing payload solutions to improve performance, documentation, and troubleshooting
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
Prior experience with a UAS manufacturing company
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical (wiring), and firmware engineering
Experience preferably in the following industries: aviation, aerospace, defense sector
Exceptional communication skills, including demonstrated experience in delivering solutions proposals to executive-level stakeholders
Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment with superior organizational and time-urgency skills
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
3-5 years of field experience in a similar role
You must be able to obtain a Part 107 UAV pilot’s license within your first six months
