This is an in-office position for hire at Inspired Flight’s HQ in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Job Description

The Production Supervisor at Inspired Flight is responsible for various tasks, both clerical and hands-on, that help keep the Production Floor operating at optimal capacity. This position will assist the Operations Manager in ensuring all aspects of job/task scheduling and inter-team workflow are conducted efficiently and accurately, as well as directly supervising several of the production teams. A significant portion of this job will be hands-on assembly and QC work alongside Production team members. This position is at the core of the manufacturing team at Inspired Flight and will be part of a rapidly growing company in the growing sUAS industry.

Typical responsibilities:

• Participate in setting weekly goals for each assigned team
• Track and report ongoing metrics of team performance
• Maintain open communication with Operations team and management regarding floor workflow
• Train technicians on various assemblies, as well as quality control processes
• Determine priorities and adjust staffing assignments to meet goals
• Maintain team adherence to attendance policy; review and validate employee timesheets
• Contribute to continuous review of work instructions and quality control documents
• Evaluate staffing optimization through cycle time studies and workflow planning
• Identify, report, and predict production, quality, or supply roadblocks in advance of stoppage
• Report to the Operations Manager for day-to-day tasks
